Whether it’s hiking in the Himalayas, wandering into the Sahara in search of fortified cities, eating fresh seafood on the Amalfi coast or drinking Guinness in castles in Ireland, Kevin Collins lives for adventure. His natural curiosity for knowledge and constant thirst for new experiences has taken him around the planet and left him with a yearning to make the world a better place.
Spending weekends and nights hacking on an Arduino and syncing LEDs to different audio frequencies was only a precursor for what was next in Kevin’s life. Through countless random conversations and daring leaps, he moved from Denver to Charleston for The Iron Yard‘s inaugural Ruby course.
After briefly dipping his toes in the freelance / startup world, Kevin ended up at Jack Russell Software. It is there that he leverages technology to improve healthcare and deliver ‘precision medicine’.
He also one time had a peanut butter and banana sandwich, but he’s not Elvis.
