Phillip Gibson

Phillip Gibson

Phillip Gibson started programming in the 7th grade. He found out he could write scripts on his TI-83 to do his math homework for him, and ever since he hasn’t stopped trying to find a way to let his code do all the heavy lifting.

He graduated with a degree in Software Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. He moved to Charleston to work at Blackbaud, where he stayed for 3 years. After a year working remotely for a California-based startup, he found his way back to a local company, Jack Russell Software, where he is currently employed.

During the days, Phillip likes to write in JavaScript, and during the nights he likes spending time with his wife, reading, playing board games, and occasionally, writing even more JavaScript.
