Syntax Conference is pleased to announce our 2018 Call for Speakers. This upcoming event will bring professionals, practitioners and industry experts together for 3 days of workshops, keynotes, sessions and networking at the North Charleston Marriott from June 6-8, 2018.
As a presenter, you’ll share the stage with notable professionals who have already been confirmed, and others yet to be announced.
What We’re Looking For
Syntax is a developer’s code and craft convention, as such, talks will focus on providing ongoing education for the developer community, and offer insight to the next big thing on the community’s horizon. We’re accepting session proposals for either June 7 or June 8; with subject matter that will fall into the following 3 tracks:
- Back-End, and
- Platforms (content management systems, cloud-hosted services, DevOps, mobile development, and more).
Of course, we’re always open to other suggestions.
Sessions typically run 45 minutes (inclusive of Q & A), but we can accommodate shorter or longer sessions if topic scope requires it.
Who Should Submit?
If you’re passionate about development, you’re welcome to add your voice to the conversation at SyntaxCon 2018. That said, regardless of your status – conference veteran, regular speaker or someone who has never given a public talk, we’re interested in hearing from you.
Deadline for Submissions
Proposals are due at 6:00 pm [EST] on December 31, 2017. We’ll make our selections and announce speakers, sessions and schedule shortly thereafter.
Encourage Others to Submit
Do you know someone who belongs at SyntaxCon? Give them a nudge! It’s a win-win, really. They’ll be excited to present, and you’ll be a hero. One thing to know: we have a code of conduct that we require all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff to comply with, no exceptions.
In that spirit, please help us spread the word as far and wide as possible.
