Our first call for speakers was scheduled to end on January 30, and we’re pretty excited about the submissions we’ve received so far. However, we didn’t feel like there was enough diversity in the submissions so we’ve decided to extend the deadline to February 12 at midnight.
What We’re Looking For
We’ve received an over-abundance of Front-End Development talk submissions. While we will still welcome more talks of this nature, we’re also looking for:
- Mobile Development
- Back-End Development
- Platforms (game development, content management systems, cloud-hosted services and infrastructure).
Encourage others to Submit
Do you know of someone who belongs at SyntaxCon? Give them a nudge! It’s a win-win, really. They’ll be excited to present, and you’ll be a hero.
One thing to know: Diversity is a core value at SyntaxCon. We keep this mix in mind as we put together each lineup:
- Professional history, skills, opinions, and experiences
- Sexual orientation, age, gender, race, and ethnicity
- Geography, language, and communication styles
In that spirit, please help us spread the word as far and wide as possible.
