Jamin Quimby – Speaker Spotlight

Very early on in life Jamin Quimby recognized, and embraced his aptitude for programming languages. At age eight he mastered Basic, by age sixteen he’d obtained his A+ Certification – the first of many that he would earn in his lifetime.

As a function of his keen interest in all things programming, teenaged Jamin accepted a part time position at a small technology shop where he built HTML 1 sites for the then newfangled ‘World Wide Web’.  Needless to say, that small shop was the launching pad to his current career.

Jamin currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Blackbaud, and is an integral part of Research Development and Operations (RDO) where his energies are focused on software development for Online Express, Givalanche and Email Services leveraging Blackbaud SKYUX.

In the intervening years, Jamin has abjured sloth, and gained contextual expertise in enterprise, multi-tenancy environments and networks with trillions of transactions a second. His background in multiple vertical markets like Health Care, Real Estate, Finance and News and Media, has allowed him to gain the experience and proficiency that he has come to be known for.
