Bryce Bigger is the founder, principal and creative force behind The Bigger Design. Starting as a “traditional” web design business back in 2004, The Bigger Design has since grown and added other services to its arsenal of offerings, including gaming, animation, and physical installations.
Bryce has the capacity to translate multiple ideas into cohesive visual messages that are effective in the market place. He has masterminded interactive magic for national brands like the United States Navy, Oracle, Ping Golf, Lockheed Martin, Chef Boyardee, and the National Institutes of Health. Bryce created the Sentinel Project, an open-source autonomous foam dart gun system shown at AdobeMAX 2010 to spotlight innovative use of Adobe AIR technology. Not stopping the ridiculousness there, Bryce has also produced other sizzling foam dart weaponry for clients, including e-mail marketing leader MailChimp. Recently Bryce has been focusing on helping education leader Handwriting without Tears develop their digital products.
Bryce holds a BS in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University, and is the author of Build Your Own Autonomous Nerf Blaster, a book that puts those NERF blasters lying around to good use. There’s some serious fun to be had while perusing this book, and you’ll come away with a bit of insight into coding with Processing and Arduino.
Bryce is that guy! The guy who balances being a husband, father, business owner, interactive designer/developer, author, and habitual line-stepper.
