David Zendzian has more than twenty five years of Information Technology and Security industry experience, his forte being Security, with specific reference to PCI, HIPAA, SOX and GLBA. His focus on network and infrastructure design and optimization is enhanced by his command of application development, hardware and software knowledge.
Over the years, he has proven himself to be approachable, professional and dependable. He is respected by his clients for his ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner; his demonstrated ability to craft strategic plans, and interface with internal/external management, peers, and partners. His inclination to share his know-how with others, mentor junior members of the team and provide technical leadership has been noted and appreciated.
David currently functions as the managing partner for ZZ Servers, a company he co-founded with his brother Peter in 2006. ZZ Servers is a managed security and hosting company, which focuses on businesses needing PCI, and other infrastructure and security managed data-center solutions.
In 2012, College of Charleston Alumni David Zendzian co-founded and organized BSides Charleston, a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members, held annually at College of Charleston. BSides Charleston has been attracting security professionals from all over the Lowcountry area for this one day event.
David now resides in Bluffton, South Carolina with his wife and three children.
