Kirsten Hunter is a well-regarded engineer who holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Kirsten currently functions as an API Evangelist at Akamai Technologies, where she is responsible for evangelizing their API to internal and external developers, teaching best practices and the annual Akamai EDGE Conference. She is a powerful generalist with extensive experience in development, planning, customer support and interaction. She loves helping developers achieve success with APIs or with their tools.
Kirsten, is obviously comfortable with who she is, and more so the ‘skin she’s in’. She lives life to the fullest, and seems to excel at whatever she puts her hand to. She is described as an unapologetic hacker, is a blogger, published author, sought after speaker and passionate advocate for the development community.
