Speaker Spotlight – Kito Mann

Currently, Kito D. Mann is the Principal Consultant at Virtua, Inc. He specializes in enterprise application architecture, training, development, and mentoring with JavaServer Faces, HTML5, portlets, Liferay, and Java EE technologies.  He is the editor-in-chief of JSFCentral.com, co-host of the Enterprise Java Newscast, and the author of JavaServer Faces in Action.

Kito is well liked and respected; he is characterized as being open-minded, gracious and considerate. With regard to his work, he is deemed a talented and innovative resource, and viewed by many as a mentor and gifted teacher. He has functioned as a Trainer for Skills Matter, teaching JSF and related courses across the UK and Europe,  founded and organized the JSF Summit Conferences, and is an internationally recognized speaker.

He has recently been teaching and providing consulting for Web Components and Polymer in addition to his teaching for DevelopIntelligence on Selenium, JavaScript, Java, and so forth.

From all indications, Kito D. Mann is the go-to guy for all things JSF. According to a fellow developer, Kito ‘ … has been at the center of JSF for as long as it’s been around, involved in everything from the specifications to authoring a book, to the community news portal.

This Spring, Kito will share on Hacking Web Components and Polymer and  PrimeFaces 5: Modern UI widgets for Java EE during his sessions for Syntax Code & Craft Convention.

SyntaxCon brings together over thirty-five talented developers from around the country who will share road-tested insights.
